OVERCOMING PROCRASTINATION
Procrastination is the act of unnecessarily postponing decisions or actions. Procrastination is when you choose to do something else instead of the task that you know you should be doing. Procrastination is a habit; it a ppears to be a challenge that we've all faced at some point. We struggle to make decisions as humans; we postpone, ignore, or avoid actions. Procrastination can eventually lead to failure, difficulty managing our time, and a weakening of one's ability to manage risks, be creative, or be productive. Feelings of loss, insecurity, or inadequacy can result from procrastination. We blame ourselves for our laziness, perfectionism, or fear of failure. Procrastination is frequently used as a form of self-protection. It is a fear-based way of defending ourselves. It is ineffective as a form of protection; instead, it frequently results in anxiety, feeling unsafe and vulnerable, judgment, or even punishment.
